Why TV9 failed ? Tv5

When the city police went to arrest Mr.K.Srinivas, Editor, Andhra Jyothi the news channels NTV, TV5 and ETV2 gave live but TV9 failed. The insidera attribute technical reasons for the failure. NTV anchor Mr. Yashonath managed the show well. At the same time, TV5 did a good thing by making Kandula Ramesh, a senior journalist anchor this event. Ms. Sonika did her best from the spot.ETV2 stopped live all of a sudden when the actual arrest was about to take place and started giving other news. This once again proved that they never change. TV9's failure generally gave an opinion that its pro-govt stand may be the reason for underplaying the arrest. But the actual reason was found to be technical one.

Mohan Babu on Zee TV soon ?

Cine Hero Mr. Manchu Mohan Babu (a.k.a Collection King ) is likely to honour the request from Zee Telugu and appear on the small screen for the first time on a large scale. It is yet to be finalised whether he appears in the show designed by the channel or, is going to host a programme to be produced by his elder son and actor Mr. Vishnu Vardhan. As per the current information, Mohan Babu has agreed in principle to host a mega (there may be an objection to the usage of this word ) Game Show on the lines of Kaun Banega Crorepathi. Since Mr. Vishnu is already in to production through his 24 Frames and Think Smart, market sources say, he is likely to take up this ambitious project on his own.

Zee Telugu has been trying all its best to fight Maa TV tooth and nail. There were many Musical and dance shows to attract the viewers regularly apart from telecasting new movies. Recently there is a news that Nagarjuna, one of the Directors of Maa TV is going to host a programme for his channel and the decision of Zee Telugu to request Mr. Mohan Babu has to be considered under the light of this development. Vishnu's serial Happy Days on Zee Telugu is a success and the media circles compare it with Yuva produced by Nagarjuna. On the similar lines, Zee Telugu is trying to run a show with Mohan Babu against the programme to be handled by Nag for Maa. Let us wait and watch this fight !

Cream of TV9 join Saakshi

In a surprise move, the cream of TV9 joined Saakshi TV giving shock to Ravi Prakash. Suvarna joined as Input Editor while Koheda Suresh will be the Desk Incharge. Balu will be the Incharge of Entertainment division and Nagaraju will continue his forte, Sports. Though the pay offred to them is not immediately known, they had to under rate the additional pay offerd by RP ( effective August with arrears ) and a gift of Rs 1 lakh. All the efforts of RP are in vain and three more people- Rami Reddy, Raghuramulu and Anand from the programming wing are about to shift. This is considered the biggest migration from TV9 ever since it started forcing RP to take immediate corrective measures. While he is on the expansion spree going from state to state, the developments at home are intriguing.

In another development, Saakshi TV was given a shock treatment by Chowdary. When Ramakrishna and Ramachandra resigned to join Saakshi, Chowdary called them back and offered a pay hike and incentives. With this, Ramakrishna, Siva Prasad and Murthy will get higher salaries and cars. Ramachandra too will get a higher pay but car will be given later. Siva Prasad, who got an offer from Saakshi but waited for a moment got the benefit as well as the confidence of the management that he is loyal to the organisation.

The similar trend was seen when Saakshi news paper started recruitment. Now it is the turn of the television medium to get higher salaries with Saakshi and TTV started taking hands and the existing channels trying to retain their staff.

Who Should own NEWS channels?

After Newspaper war, now its time for NEWS Channels war. The worrying factor is the kind of elements and the kind of money which are entering into news channel business. At national level Manu Sharma's News India is a classic example where he wanted to destroy NEWS channels by starting a news channel and a news paper. It seems that this channel is appointing history sheeter's and persons with criminal background as reporters and correspondents. This is the method and route they are adopting to destroy news channels which highlighted the jessica lal murder case trial.

In AP also many wrong elements have entered or are ready to enter into the news channel market. The irony is that journalists are forced to toe the line of these persons in their respective channels rather than bring out and produce stories which contain journalistic values. GOD save the future of news channels in AP.

Journalists are for sale . Some may be bought for higher salary and some are available for a lumpsum amount in the beginning or a huge amount as their share in the media companies. Only the type of purchase is different.

TTV investors have lot of money. Kapil Chit Funds is a very good company earning profits. So, there is no lack of funds. They pay good salaries. Dont worry. Let us go and bargain.They need people. We can demand 40 percent hike.

There are two angles to this. Some are entering to blackmail while some other channels are coming because they are the victims of the blackmailing earlier.So, you cant stop this spiral effect.

The group is said to have the backing of Rupert Murdoch's Emerging Media company. This NRI group has hired the consultancy services of Earnst & Young to study the feasibility of business and prepare a project report. These UK NRI's are cash rich and they hold large tracts of land bank in and around Hyd. So, people who are sitting on the fence to jump can wait for a few days until the UK group's head hunting will start in a huge way.

దశాబ్దానికి పైగా వార్తలు చదువుతూ తెలుగు ప్రజలందరికీ పరిచయమైన ప్రగతి తన పెద్దరికంతో న్యూస్ రీడర్ల సంఘం పెట్టి సమావేశానికి పిలిస్తే పట్టుమని పదిహేను మందికి మించి రాలేదు.బులిటెన్ మార్చుకునే అవకాశం ఉండి కూడా మొహం చాటేసిన వాళ్ళే ఎక్కువమంది ఉన్నట్టు సమాచారం.సంఖ్యాబలం కోసం వాయిస్ ఓవర్ ఆర్టిస్టులను కలుపుకున్నా ఆశించిన ఫలితం రాలేదు.

దాదాపు ఏడాది కాలంగా ప్రగతి ఈ పనిలొ నిమగ్నమయ్యారని, మొదట్లో యాంకర్లను కలుపుకోవాలని భావించినా వాళ్ళెవరూ ఈవిడ నాయకత్వాన్ని ఒప్పుకోరని గ్రహించి న్యూస్ రీడర్లకే పరిమితమయ్యారని ఆమె సన్నిహితులు చెబుతున్నారు. మామూలు గెట్ టుగెదర్ అని పిలిచిన మొదటి సమావేశంలోనే సంఘం ఏర్పాటు, దాని భారీ లక్ష్యాలు వగైరా వివరిస్తూ సభ్యత్వ రుసుము ఐదు వేలని ప్రకటించిన ఫలితం రెండో సమావేశంలో తేలిపోయింది. ఐదుగురే హాజరయ్యారు. సంఘం రిజిస్టర్ చేయటానికి ఆ మాత్రం చాలుగనుక అలా ముందుకెళ్ళారు.

కార్యవర్గం తప్ప సభ్యులు లేని సంఘానికి బలం రావాలంటే ఇళ్ళ స్థలాల ఆశ చూపాలని ఆలోచించి వెంటనే ఆ మంత్రం పఠించారు.ముప్పై మందిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఇంటికి నడిపించారు.ఇళ్ళ స్థలాల గురించి అడుగుదామని చెప్పిన నాయకురాలు తీరా అక్కడికెళ్ళాక న్యూస్ రీడర్లకూ నంది అవార్డులు కావాలని అడగడం, అందుకింత హడావిడి ఏమిటన్నట్టు ఆయన విసవిసా వెళ్ళీపోవడం చూసిన న్యూస్ రీడర్లు విస్తుపోయారు.ఆమె ధోరణితొ విసిగిపోయారు.

ఇక తీర్మానాల విషయానికొస్తే - మెడీక్లైం , రాజీవ్ ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ వర్తింపజేయాలని ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరాలని నిర్ణయించారు. సొసైటీ ఏర్పాటు చేసుకుని ఇళ్ళ స్థలాలకోసం మరో విడత ప్రయత్నిచాలని కూడా నిర్ణయించారు.భారీ సభ్యత్వ రుసుములను చాలామంది వ్యతిరేకించారు. జెమినీలాంటి చానల్లో నెల జీతమే ఐదు వేలుంటే సంఘం చందా ఐదు వేలు ఎలాగని అడిగినా ప్రగతి గారు ఎంతమాత్రమూ తగ్గలేదు.భవిష్యత్తు కోసం త్యాగాలు తప్పవంటూ ప్రసంగం కొనసాగిస్తుండటంతో రీడర్లు ఒక్కొక్కరూ ఇళ్ళకు వెళ్ళాలంటూ లేచారు.స్వర్ణకమలం లో భానుప్రియలా " అర్థం చేసుకోరూ..." అంటూ ముగించడం ప్రగతి వంతు అయి అయింది.

news channels: Waiting to shake wings

There are 13 new players in Telugu waiting for the launch before the next general elections. Half of them are searching for good partners. Ministry of I&B has cleared all these licenses and given a green signal for the launch. This means hundreds of job opportunities for the unemployed.
After software, its NEWS channels boom which will provide scores of opportunities.

Corrupt King Rajsekhar of Tv9 fame wants to launch a news channel. He says he has collected 3crores from MNR and KGR educational institutions. With this money he is giving double salary offers to all seniors in tvs.His channel name is Ideal broadcasting co.IBC.Tv name is itv.It is kiliing time for corrupt journos who can join this tv and mint money.

Who is behind iNews ?

The advertisemnt of iNews created ripples in the television medium and at the same time people are busy finding out the person behind it. Since there was a rumour doing rounds in the media circles that Mr. Rajasekhar, once Chief Coordinator in TV9 has been actively working out on launching a channel, the new channel was immediately identified with him. Everybody is believing that Mr. Rajasekhar is behind it but nobody is confirming the financier's name.

As per the initial information, thr MNR group is financing this venture, though not fully. One Mr. Sanyasi Rao of FAPCII, well known in the industry and business circles is also one among the financiers of this project. There is an analysis that some bigwigs of Raju community have come forward to challenge the channel owned by Srini Raju. However, some people started using this opportunity to say that Mr. Rajasekhar has amassed wealth sufficient to run a channel.

Right now, Mr. Rajasekhar is in Singapore attending Broadcast Asia Expo and is likely to to return by 24th according to his close associates. It is also learnt that he has been asking all the journalists who are against Ravi Prakash to join hands to see that TV9 collapses. There will be clear picture once Rajasekhar comes to India

SVBC Senior Reporter sacked

Mr. MVN Sarma, Senoir Reporter in SV Bhakti channel was shown the door yesterday. Interestingly, the allegation levelled against him was that he was leaking certain crucial lapses on the part of the management to the media. The information contained in the seies of news stories appeared in Andhra Jyothi have been attributed to him. Two more staff members of SVBC also resigned on the same day without assigning any reason

TTV recruitment pics up

The number of Chief Reporters in TTV rose to 4 with three more joining the channel. While Senior Journalist Mr. Danny ( earlier in CTV ) joined the organisation three months ago, the other three joined this month.

Mr. Kranti is the Chief Reporter - Crime Bureau ( Earlier with Gemini, TV9 and TV5 ) ; Mr. Suresh is the Chief Reporter - General Bureau ( Earlier with Vaarta, Andhra Jyothi , NTV and TV5 ) and Mr. Prabhu is the Chief Reporter - Entertainment Bureau ( Earlier with Megha Sandesam, Cine Star, cinegoer.com and Dasari TV ) as per the present information, Mr. Kranti is yet to take charge. Though the designations are same, there is variation in salaries.

Though there is a news that one Mr. Bucchayya has been selected as Delhi Bureau Chief, media peolpe at Delhi are completely ignorant and are unable to confirm. However, the recruitments for the Output side are yet to start since no names are finalised so far.

సాక్షి టీవీ : సాక్షి పత్రిక తరహాలో భారీగా రాబోతున్న ఈ చానల్ లో ఇప్పటికే చేరిన వారు ఎవరెవరు ఏ హోదాలో ఉన్నదీ స్పష్టంగా తెలియకపోయినప్పటికీ అన్ని స్థాయిలలో అవకాశాలున్నవి.50 నుంచి 150 శాతం వరకు ఎక్కువ జీతం ఇవ్వడానికి సిద్ధం. ఈటీవీ2, టీవీ9 సిబ్బందికి ప్రాధాన్యం. సాక్షి పత్రిక తరహాలో యాజమాన్యపు సామాజిక వర్గానికి ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వడం లేదు.అయితే ఇదే అవకాశంగా భావించి మరో సామాజిక వర్గం విజృంభిస్తున్న మాట కొట్టిపారేయటానికి వీల్లేదు.

టీ టీవీ : అంతా నిజమే చెబుతామంటున్న టీ చానల్ భారీ జీతాలివ్వడానికి సిద్ధమవుతోందన్న మాట కూడా నిజం. వయసు, అనుభవం లాంటి విషయాలను కూడా పక్కనబెట్టి టీవీ జర్నలిస్టుల కంటే ప్రింట్ జర్నలిస్టులకు ప్రాధాన్యమిచ్చి బాగా ప్రోత్సహించాలనే సదుద్దేశంతో ఉంది. ఆంధ్ర జ్యోతిలో పనిచేసిన అనుభవం గాని, పనిచేస్తున్నవారి సిఫారసు గాని ఉంటే అదనపు అర్హత. తలుపు తట్టిన వారికి వెంటనే అవకాశం.
సీబీసీ న్యూస్ : పది నెలలుగా ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తూ వస్తున్న ఈ చానల్ త్వరలో కొత్త భవనంలోకి మారిన వెంటనే భారీగా సిబ్బందిని తీసుకునేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతోంది.ఒక మోస్తరు జీతాలుంటాయి.ఈ నెల లాగా మరెప్పుడూ జీతాలు ఆలస్యం కావని కూడా గట్టిగా హామీ ఇస్తోంది.అన్ని చోట్లా ప్రయత్నించిన తరువాతనే ఇక్కడకు వస్తారన్న అపార నమ్మకం ఉంది. జర్నలిస్టులకు ఇంతకంటే భరోసా అవసరమా ?

సితార (న్యూస్) : ముందుగా ఐదారు బులిటెన్స్ తో మొదలైనప్పటికీ ఆ తరువాత 24 గంటల న్యూస్ చానల్ గా మారుతుంది గనుక త్వరపడాలని పిలుపునిస్తోంది. ఎందుకైనా మంచిదని ఏడాది కాంట్రాక్ట్ మీదనే ఉద్యోగాలు ఇస్తోంది.ఈ లోపు కన్సల్టెంట్లుగానే ఉద్యోగపత్రాలు అందుతాయి.కాకపోతే త్వరలో మీరంతా స్టార్ ఉద్యోగులవుతారనే ప్రచారం మాత్రం చేసుకుంటోంది.నమ్మితే నమ్మండి.

జీ తెలుగు న్యూస్ : కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగం లాంటిది. మంచి జీతం. ఏటా బోనస్. వారానికి ఐదే రోజులు పని. మీకు మీరుగా వెళ్తే తప్ప మిమ్మల్ని ఎవరూ చానల్ నుంచి బైటికి పంపే ప్రయత్నం చేయరు.ఇంకా రిక్రూట్ మెంట్ మొదలు కాలేదుగాని కాస్త పని తెలిసిన వాళ్ళందరూ ప్రయత్నించుకోవచ్చు. ఈటీవీ వారికి ప్రాధాన్యం.

Sakshi Hits Vaartha and tough times ahead for AJ

Crores of rupees wnet into Sakshi failed to dent Eenadu but was able to make a dent into Vaartha run Own Party's MP. While Sakshi's free circulation is on AJ is tryuing to convince its readers about the quality. Tons of non news content which is in Sakshi is threatning AJ's base. Except couple of OLD and forgoten stories about Chandra Babu Naidu, there is not much news in Sakshi. Now the problem in front of AJ is to compete with family and movie pages of Sakshi.

సీనియర్ జర్నలిస్టు కొమ్మినేని శ్రీనివాసరావు ' వార్త ' దినపత్రిక చీఫ్ ఎడిటర్ గా చేరబోతున్నారనే వార్త మీడియావర్గాల్లో వినిపిస్తోంది. కొంత కాలంగా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ పత్ల గుర్రుగా ఉన్న గిరీష్ సంఘీ తన దినపత్రికను ఇతర పత్రికలకు ధీటుగా తీర్చి దిద్దటానికి కొమ్మినేనిని ఎడిటర్ గా రప్పించుకునే ఆలోచనలో ఉంది. ఈ మేరకు ప్రాధమిక చర్చలు కూడా జరిగాయట. ఈనాడు, ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి పతికల్లో ఒక వెలుగు వెలిగిన కొమ్మినేని అనవసరంగా ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియాకు వచ్చి చేతులు కాల్చుకున్నానే అని చాలా కాలంగా బాధ పడుతున్నారట. ప్రింట్ మీడియాలోకి తిరిగి రావాలని భావిస్తున్న కొమ్మినేనికి వార్త రూపంలో మంచి అవకాశం అభించనుంది. కొమ్మినేని ఒక దశలో చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు తేవాలని భవించిన ' అక్షర ' దిన పత్రిక ఎడిటర్ గా వెల్లుతున్నారనే ఊహాగానాలు వచ్చాయి. చివరకు బాబు గారు అక్షర యోచన విరమించుకున్నారుట(?) వార్త దిన పత్రికను అభివృద్ది పరచడానికి గిరీష్ సంఘీ కొత్త వియ్యంకుడు (అగ్రశ్రేణి హిందీ దినపత్రిక దైనిక్ జాగరణ్ యజమాని) ఆసక్తిగా ఉన్నారట.

జెమిని జీతాల పెరుగుదల 5 శాతమేనా?..

ఊహించినట్లే జెమిని సిబ్బంది వేతనాల పెరుగుదల విషయంలో మరోసారి దారుణంగా మోసపోయారు. సంవత్సర కాలంగా జీతాలు పెంచుతామంటూ ఊరించిన యాజమాన్యం తమ సిబ్బందిని ఘోరంగా అవమానించింది. జెమిని నుండి ఇతర ఛానెళ్ళకు భారీగా వలసలు ప్రారంభం కావడంతో జీతాలు 50 నుండి 100 శాతం దాకా పెరుగుతాయని యాజమాన్యంలోని ప్రముఖులు ప్రచారం చేసారు. ఈ ప్రచారాన్ని నమ్మిన సిబ్బంది ఇతర ఛానెళ్ళలో వచ్చిన అవకాశాలను కూడా వదులుకున్నారు. చెన్నై నుండి వచ్చిన తాజా సమాచారం ప్రకారం జెమిని సిబ్బందికి కేవలం 5 శాతం జీతమే పెంచాలని సన్ యాజమాన్యం నిర్ణయించింది. ఈ సమాచారం లీక్ కావడంతో జెమిని సిబ్బందిలో చాలా మంది రాజీనామా చేసే ఆలోచనలో ఉన్నారు. ఇతర తెలుగు ఛానెళ్ళతో పోలిస్తే జెమిని ఛానెళ్ళలో సిబ్బంది జీతాలు అడేఅనంగా ఉన్న విషయం తెలిందే. పెరిగిన నిత్యావసర వస్తువల ధరలు, గ్రేటర్ హైదరాబాద్లో రెండు, మూడింతలు అయిన ఇళ్ళ అద్దేలు చెల్లించలేక జెమిని సిబ్బంది నరకం అనుభవిస్తున్నారు. ఇవన్నీ జెమిని-సన్ యాజమాన్యాలకు తెలియవా? నిద్ర పోయే వారిని లేపవచ్చు, కాని నిద్ర నటించే వారిని ఏమీ చేయలేం.. జెమినిలో లక్షల్లో జీతాలు తీసుకుంటున్న ఎం.డి కిరణ్, జి.ఎం. బాలకృష్ణన్ తినడాని తిండైనా లభించని దుస్థితిలో ఉన్న తమ సిబ్బందికి న్యాయమైన జీతాలు ఇప్పించడంలో విఫలమయ్యారు. మీరు బరిస్టా కాఫీ తాగగానే సరిపోదు.. మీ సిబ్బంది కనీసం కామత్ హోటల్లో అయినా కాఫీ తాగేలా జీతాలు ఇప్పించండి.

సతీష్ బాబు తర్వాత ఎవరొస్తారన్నది జెమిని ముందున్న ప్రశ్న. జెమిని టీవీ ఎడిటర్, బ్యూరో చీఫ్, కోఆర్డినేటర్ పోస్టుల్లో పని చేయాలంటే జర్నలిస్టులకు భయం. ఈ పదవుల్లో ఉన్నవారందరినీ వేధించి సాగనంపడం జెమిని యాజమాన్యానికి వెన్నతో పెట్టిన విద్య. సాక్షాలు కావాలంటే రవిప్రకాష్, కందుల రమేష్, భావనారాయణ, మధు, మాధవ్, మునిరాజు లను అడిగి చూడండి.

వెళ్ళిపోయిన వాళ్ళకు రకరకాల కారణాలు ఉన్నాయి.టీవీ 9 కోసం రవి ప్రకాష్ వెళ్ళాడు.టీవీ సంగతి తెలియక తెర మీద కనిపించబోయి కందులకు పరాభవం ఎదురైంది.భావనారాయణ అప్పటికే రెండు సార్లు రాజీనామా చేసి ఇక తట్టుకొలేక మూడో సారి మానేసి కనిపించకుండా వెళ్లిపోయాడు.హైదరాబాద్ దెబ్బ అర్థం అయి ఉండాలి.7 ఏళ్ళు పని చేసినందుకు మెచ్చుకోవాలి. తనకు చేతకాని పని చేయబోయి బోర్లా పడిన మధును కాంగ్రెస్ కూడా ఆదుకోలేకపోయింది. మాధవ్ అనే రవిప్రకాష్ ఏజెంట్ గురించి తెలిసిన యాజమాన్యం అతగాడిని సాగనంపింది. రఘుకుమార్ ఏజెంట్ మునిరాజు చివరికి తన దారి తాను చూసుకోక తప్పలేదు.ఇచ్చిన వరకే చాలునని ఒప్పుకొని చేరిన సతీష్ బాబు తన ధోరణిలో తప్పులు చేసి అక్కడ కుదరదని తెలిసి జారుకున్నాడు.

సాక్షి రంగప్రవేశంతో తెలుగు దిన పత్రికల మధ్య పోరాటం ప్రారంభమైంది. అది సర్క్యులేషన్లోనో, వార్తల కవరేజీలోనో కాదు. పరస్పరం దుమ్మెత్తిపోసుకోవడంలోనే ఈ పోరాటం.. ఈనాడు, ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి పత్రికలకు పోటీగా అత్యాధునిక టెక్నాలజీ, అన్ని పేజీలు రంగుల్లో, ఒకేసారి 23 ఎడిషన్లతో వచ్చిన సాక్షి సరికొత్త చరిత్ర సృష్టించిందనడంలో అనుమానం లేదు. అయితే ఈనాడులో వచ్చిన స్టోరీ(జడ్చర్ల ఎస్.ఇ.జడ్)ని సాక్షి సమీక్షించడం, సాక్షిపై ఈనాడు ఎదురు తిరగడం పాఠకులను ఆశ్చర్యపరిచింది. ఈనాడులో వచ్చిన స్టోరీ అసత్యమైతే వివరణ ఇచ్చుకోవాల్సిన బాధ్యత ప్రభుత్వానిది. కానీ సాక్షి ఎందుకు జోక్యం చేసుకున్నట్లు? అలాగే తాను అమ్ముతున్నట్లుగానే ఇతర తెలుగు దిన పత్రికలు కూడా రూ.2/-కే అమ్మాలని సాక్షి డిమాండ్ చేయడం ఎంతవరకూ సబబు. ఎవరి సరుకుకు వారు ధర నిర్ణయించుకునే హక్కు కలిగి ఉంటారు. తాను అమ్మే ధరకే ఇతరులూ అమ్మాలని ఏ వ్యాపారి కూడా శాసించజాలడు. ఏ ధరకు ఏ సరుకు కొనాలో నిర్ణయించుకునేది వినియోగదారుడే. ఈ సూత్రం పత్రికలకూ, పాఠకులకూ వర్తిస్తుంది. అంతర్జాతీయ టెక్నాలజీతో, అన్ని పేజీలు రంగుల్లో కేవల రూ.2/- కే ఇస్తున్న సాక్షితో ఈనాడు, ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి పోటీపడలేవని అర్థమైపోయింది. ఈ విషయాన్ని ఆ రెండు దిన పత్రికలే అంగీకరించాయి. ఎలాగు సాక్షి సర్క్యులేషన్ 13 లక్షలు దాటింది. యుద్దమొలో గెలిసిన తర్వాత కూడా శత్రువుని హింసించాలా?.. క్షమించి వదిలేయవచ్చుకదా?..

You name it as marketing or to exist in the market or competetion for Eenadu and AJ, Jagan wants to distribute the paper for free which made a circulation of 12 lakhs per day incurring losses of Rs. 75 lakhs per day. They took the signature from people to whom they are distributing the paper saying that they will pay to the paper if they like the content and want to continue. But everyone is saying that its a bad move from SAAKSHI side as the people started looking it as a pamplet of Congress (especially YSR) which is supporting every move of present government.

In the inauguration function, Jagan stated that SAAKSHI will be un-biased news paper in Andhra Pradesh. How many of you believed the words of Jagan?? Myself, not even 0.01%, how about you ?

Eenadu is pamphlet of Telugu Desam Party. Mr.Ramoji if architect and founder of Telugu Desam. Andhra Jyothi is worse and takes care of Kamma interests in politics. If Sakshi comes it takes care of large population of other castes, who r strong in politics but no media support. Sakshi is improving everyday and sure its cirulation raises to 15 lacs soon. They are not not in a business of pretentions. They will tell the world about Ramoji and TDP scams and unholy alliances. Even started giving coverage for some of the petty festivals of Christianity so that it directly spreading their faith across. It could be proved disastrous for entire Andhra culture.

Hot News is that Revathi has been selected as an Input Editor for Saakshi TV (Indira). What does she know about Journalism? She was a trainee reporter in TV9 in 2005. By luck she got chance in IBN. But She was a failure reporter there itself.

If real worth is there in the newspaper, people will not mind to purchase that newspaper even by paying Rs.100/-. What is the Sakshi's problem. They are daily writing that they are selling Sakshi only Rs.2/-. Are they thinking that they are doing any service to the people by selling Rs.2/-. If they think in that way they can. But what is the justification for them to run a campaign (that too in front pages) against Eenadu & AJ saying that these newspapers are selling Rs.3/-and asking them to sell @ Rs.2/-. In what capacity Sakshi asking them to reduce Eenadu & AJ prices. If tomorrow any newspaper asks Sakshi to distribute free of cost, will Sakshi do that (ofcourse in some places they are distributing freely to claim their circulation).

Ok, Ramoji is great. He started agitation against liquer. He stoped. He supported NTR , He puulled out NTR, He was communist. Now he is supporting BJP.

He is great. He can do any thing. Ok, Saakshi is not good. Eenadu is ok? Why he started again agitation through right to information?

He is great. He is using hundreds of crores amount of Margadarsi. Even though he is great.

The media war is really hot. I read both Eenadu and Sakshi. To say that Sakshi is impartial is nothing but self-deception. But what about the other news papers like Eenadu and AJ? Can any rational man say that these are impartial papers.

Even though most of the readers know that these papers are partial, atleast the news items provided some data points and in the absense of any opposing view, they were circulated as facts. People in most of the conversations use these news items as references. To say that these are partial, one has to have deep knowledge about the situation and such people are rare.

In this context, Sakshi's arrival is a welcome step. After reading about today's "Edi Nijam" against Eenadu's news item on SEZs, one is concerned about what is really happening. It questions Eenadu's so called facts point by point.

Till now, mediocrity in media went unnoticed. But the current level of competetion will test the one-sided and fabricated articles to the maximum.

The only difference between Eenadu and Sakshi is that Sakshi is more open in it's stand unlike Eenadu's pretention.
