Narendra Choudhary, head of Narendertv is upset with the quality of his channel. He knows that with this pace he can't become a Rajyasabha member. The channel has become laughing stock to many. Senior journalists commented that it is more a comedy channel than a news channel. Thus he took a decision to fire all the top guys who failed to deliver. As K.S.R. has already resigned, N has decided to get rid of S.R., Murthy,Sivaprasad and Vinay. According to sources, the cab driver turned Channel owner announced this in Jubileehills club. So, senior journos it is a good opportunity to get senior positions in NTV

A presentable and telegenic face and body language greatly helps a news reader or anchor.

But equally or more important is to have good voice culture - tone, its variations to accurately reflect the mood of the news, an innate or acquired ability to present a range of emotions while reading news or anchoring a programme.

While ability to read news or anchor programmes in flawless Telugu is essential, if one is talented he or she can provide value addition to the news bullettin or programme slot by properly synchronising presentation with visual clippings.

When we look at a number of our AIR and DD newsreaders and anchors of earlier days ( not now) we get an idea. News readers like Surjit sen, ABC Chakrapani, Niti Ravindran, Rini Simon(Khanna), Edida Gopal Rao, Kandukuri Suryanarayana (Telugu) and many others whose voices are remembered for their neat and flawless presentation of news. There maybe many other good presenters today also but are few.

There were days when just by hearing the voice over AIR news bulletins or programmes, one could, even a layman, tell who is reading the news or on transmission. Such was the quality of AIR news readers in the past (Not now)

By proper training in voice modulation, news reading, synchronisation with visuals and hard effort even now private channels, new or established, can shape their news reading and anchoring staff.

Even slips or goof-ups can be made up if the news reader or presenter has a fine sense of humour. Homework before one goes on air is important in news transmissions. Where there is a will, there is a way.

ntv is flop show.they first look at whether their channel is in prime listing or not.severla cable operators not telecasting NTV.even some people dont know NTV channel is there.NTV management dont want viewers support.ntv management have to rememeber one thing they have to concentrate more on channle listing than sting operations.therwise your channel like cable chgannel.it will air only in some parts of area.not satilite channale.

Narendra Chowdary may extract oil from desert sand. But he can not extract the Pro-YS content from the crew that has being served Chandrababu for over a decade. Instead producing pro-Congress stories, his crew is now busy in crafting pro- CBN stories and expecting favourable calls either from Andhra Jyothy or Eenadu.

2. If KSR leaves another fellow will come. we it is not a problem. But this situation has come. Think.

3. Ramanujam's long experience is good for nothing as far as channel is concerned. His experience be limited to administration(that too not in technical issues)His long stint in Ramoji's empire is like working in a public sector company and retiring.

4. Your channel looks like a combination of Doordarshan and gemini News. Who is responsible for such disaster ? Your interference or Ramanujam's Chaadastam or combination of all these factors ?

5. Do you think Soujanya can lead the entire burden of anchoring? She is good but where her exposure to journalism ? Anchoring is different from presentation. Poor Ramanujam cannot understand this small issue.

6. We do not know who is responsible for what.. but you need to wake up NOW or SLEEP forever.

In NTV script writing is bad. Present shift incharges, who came from so called tv9, is more interest in writing same letters repeatedly in one line. They do not have any knowledge about the " NANARDHALU". They do not have any knowledge in current affairs. Recently Ntv N force made a failure operation on Nims, because the picture shows the date on tape as 2004, which means it is purely past story. I request the Managment, to look after these primary issues, because they invested corer's of rupees in this channel. Whatever the ulterior motive of the managment in establishing the NTV, they are creating sensation in live coverage. It will became fruitful when there are capable script writers. In my opinion and reliable source I knew that 3 OR 4 persons are capable in script writing, in the desk.

Opposition alleges that he amassed 2000 crores. But our prince Jagan doesn't want to spend too much on the salaries. After recruiting senior staff he wanted to save money and pay less amounts to the secondary level people.He ordered that no one should be appointed for above 30,000 salary.He will give special approval for the journos above 20,000 salary. This move confused a lot of seniors who wanted to join Saakshi and they are now opting for Andhrajyothy. Thus Jagan's miser attitude is helping Jyothy to build a good team.

the blogger`s lead is true. ignoring the backbone central desk, they have started edition incharges recruitment. as per information, the edition incharches and their salaries are as follows..
srikakulam.. muralikrishna of vaartha.. 15,000
vizag.. sagar ex aj and now surya of rjy.. 17,000
vijayawada...sathya prakash of aj..rs 17,000
tirupathi.. ramanjaneyulu of navya weekly .. 22,000
though it was decided to pay uniform salaries to incharges of big cities @17,000, ramanjaneyulu managed to get 22,000. this may create problems in future.
one more thing friends,
murali`s wings are cut and he is asked to confine himself to his reporting staff. all the editions incharges recruitments are done by patanjali through his lakshman rao.
with this salaries structure, everybody lost interest on saakshi and no talented person in aj and eenaadu will join saakshi. saakshi may going to face the understaff trouble like surya and they may not launch all the editions at a time in january.

I consider it a rare opportunity to have observed Kiran, MD, Eenadu and Jagan for sometime.

Look, we have to tell who Kiran is but Jagan does not require such introduction. Moreover, Kiran has been handling Eenadu for long time (almost a decade) but still does not look like the experienced. Jagan is quick learner. I am not praising him. He has his own drawbacks. But I believe his drawbacks are more to do with his personal choices. About business and external activities, Jagan thinks like the matured, Kiran is not so. Kiran is yet to learn to handle things independently.

Like Kiran, Jagan too consider the opinion of his advisers but decision is purely of his choice. Kiran, most of the times, gets carried away by his advisers opinion. Jagan has better idea about Kiran, which is supposed to be other way round. What I suspect is that Jagan has been waiting and watching Eenadu moves closely. He strongly feels that his father’s fight against Eenadu has to be taken forward by him. Kiran, if he wants to continue the legacy of his father, he needs to be much much better than a mere rookie Manager. I don’t know, whether Kiran has spies who can tell him about Jagan and his attitude and thinking. Jagan gets regular feedback about inside Eenadu.

The state of Andhrapradesh has witnessed great moments in its media history.Today's ntv launch is certainly a turning point in AP media book. A mere truck driver who swindled money by Ganja smuggling, fakenote scam, flesh trade and land grabbings is eying on media to get more power. He paid lakhs to hire journalists and now challenging the set of values of existing media. His majority partner Shabbir ali who was a mere bootlegger of Kamareddy is in hurry to grab his piece in the media of the state.One has to wait and see whether Narendertv's chief becomes successful in his dream to become a Rajyasabha member or not.

Sir, - One gets doubts about media values when one goes through different versions of news reports and stories in daily newspapers.

If some reports look biased, engineered and doctored plants, others look bland or better still no mention at all. Some news is played up, others, though important from information point to readers, deliberately spiked, for various reasons. Discerning readers easily through this.

Reputation and credibility of newspapers or electronic media gets eroded when trivial information like a public representative or official opening a vegetable shop or saloon, holding an umbrella to someone drenched in rain during a demonstration, or pressing a button to inaugurate a digital bell in a cinema hall or cine bigwigs and models gracing showrooms, officials inaugurating this or that project, etc is played up. Other than a passing reference, news about such events do not deserve much attention, least of all crowd photos and visuals about them from a reader/viewer point. It sometimes looks like waste of precious space in newspapers and channel time.

What was Ramoji Rao for that matter before starting Eenadu. Was not sleeping in Communist Party office in Khammam or doing all frauds in Vizag.

For that matter Even Girish Sanghi's father was a small time bachacha who kabzafied lands in Hayatnagar from farmers and built his empire.

Dont blame Naren Chowdary nor mimick Kommineni. May be Kommineni has a little black complexion, but that does not mean he should anchor programme. What about Senthil Chengavarayan or CNBC TV 18? He too is a blacky, but got name and fame.

I hope colour will not affect Kommeni from becoming a leader in electronic news media, and soon he will surpass Ravi Prakash and becomes a house hold name in Andhra Pradesh.

I am a senior journalist who used to work for EEENADU. I observed the things very closely..Please post this comment separately because it contains lot of facts and throws light on how an organization based on caste survives, thrives and then declines. In the declining phase all the people leave it. Earlier there were some examples like Andhrapatrika, Andhra prabha dominated by one caste. Now the same thing is happening with Eenadu. Let me explain further in detail. I feel you should put it separately so that our journalist fraternity know more about inside working of an organization.. Please note that I am not against any particular caste and in fact my marriage is a inter caste one.

First let us see how the caste plays a role in Editorial Department of Eenadu. Eenadu has different wings, headed by different people. After the Margadarsi contraversy Kiron and his gang with approval of his papa Ramoji tried to fill the posts with their caste people. They calculated that - at least they have a caste loyalty, which is working beautifully in eenadu for last 31 years. Let us see who is heading all the branches..

There are few exceptions not because they are highly talented but they are true boot licker's of either MNR or DN Gang. Veer Reddy, who is a pig headed (every body knew it in eenadu)person is boot licker of MNR. Then comes Vasundara in charge Sripada Padmasri(Bramhin by birth), who is boot licker of Rahul. For that matter she can be loyalist of any person including Veerreddy. In her case problem is replacement. Generally only ladies are in charges of Vasundara Edition. There are few kamma women left in editorial to replace padmasri. They tried to put Shanti sri, who is also kamma in the place of padmasri. but she is dumb, so they don't have much choice. Vakallanka Kishore, internet in charge is an exception because there is no easy replacement. Many a times DN tried to put Amrita, who is kamma in his place. because of her dumbness, she management realized that she cannot hold her fort for long. so they dropped the idea.

If you take administration all the managers are Kammas with one or two exceptions. The beauty of Eenadu is that any office boy also can become a manager and say anything about Journalism.

WHY SO MANY KAMMAS?

It serves two purposes.. one- Caste loyalty gives stability to organization. Many people don't left the organization. Second factor is it is legacy of Ramesh babu, Varma and Ramamohan Rao. They filled the Editorial with their own caste loyalists. But the Shrewd Ramoji realized the importance of the other castes. He carefully filled 60 percent his organization work force with other castes. It worked out beautifully like 70: 30 Management formula. All the important positions were filled by Kammas and work force would be from other castes. This worked for last 30 years- because of lack of opportunities. Now all of a sudden everything changed. New openings came forth. New generation wants quick bucks rather than stability. So his formula started faltering.

WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW?

Now a days non kammas in Eenadu became very insecure. Most of them feel that due to margadarsi crisis the management may put more kammas (i.e. loyalists) on their heads. so they can monitor the things better. but the new opportunities gave them fresh lease of life. If you see the persons left Eenadu recent times- they are all non kammas working under kammas. Take recent exodus from General Desk and two resignations from Pratibha, Pratibha plus desks. Because of high hand behavior and arrogance of Rahul they left the organisation. All are once darlings of Management and they got all the hikes. They were very insecure about Kamma domination and future prospects. Now the management wanted to change the track.. They may propose one or two non kammas for important positions in organisation. According to grave pine- Kannababbu, a kapu and BC may replace Viswa Prasad, a real dead wood in journalistic world. Rajamahandra Reddy may get a promotion and hike in General Desk. Few more Brahmins may be elevated to important positions. But the real question is who will change the system nurtured by Caste? let us wait and watch. see for more on eenadu in this column.

Sir, - Exodus of employees from one organisation to another, or high attrition rate among employees, is not new. More the job openings, greater will be the movement. This is what is being witnessed in the electronic and print media field now. More channels, more newspapers.

The more the jobs or openings available with good pay and perks, the greater will be the movement of workers. The high attrition rate among software professionals in IT companies in Bangalore or Hyd provides an example.

Perhaps the same kind of phenomena is seen in the media field with more and more news channels and newspapers coming up. The field perhaps is now offering more opportunities for start-ups as well as middle level and senior level media professionals.

Competence, calibre and skills of an employee matter more for an employer/business organisation than any other consideration as huge investments are involved. More so in the globalsed era in which we live today.

Wider choice of opportunities and earning are motivating professionals these days to hop from one company to the other than any other reason. A decade ago this flexibility was not available in the media field. Organisations which fail to realise the changing conditions and adapt themselves find themselves market redundant and die a gradual and natural death. Those that keep in step with the changes survive and flourish.

i am surprised to know shabbir ali's partnership with NTV. A small time fellow from kamareddy, Shabbir Ali shot into fame in present government due to his loyalty to YSR. NTV probably the first ever media enterprise from Telangana area. shabbir Ali once a small time man now rised to the level of owning a TV. But, he doesn't have much following in Kamareddy. He hadnot done any great to his constituency.

Zeetv has decided to launch its Telugu news channel in December this year. Zee management has entrusted the job to Shailesh, a senior journo who is handling Zeenews and Zee Telugu assignments effectively. Sailesh who got good experience in etv is now heading Zee news in AP. Zee top management has released the required funding for the equipment and gave a greensignal to Sailesh to recruit people.Meanwhile Maa10 and Rajnews have stared top level recruitments.

It is heard that YSR is in second thoughts regarding house sites for journalists. He seems decided to postpone the process until his son's paper and channel came out. Large scale of nepotism is also expected in the scrutiny of applications. Journalists without any backing (dont bother about experience) may not get the chance this time. Never be in blues like APUWJ and Housing Society are working for jounalists. They are working for themselves. This is all for those who waiting for the sites and in the process missing other good offers.

Tigulla Krishnamurthy, Vakkalanka Ramana , Naga Sudhakar are all boodaraju products and right wing RSS brahmin elements. During TDP-BJP alliance days these saffron brahmins suitablly matched with yellow coloured kamma management of EENADU. After break in that tie up now with TDP-CPM model emerging ... saffron coloured brahmins are irrelevant to use & throw philosophy champ EENADU. Hence their logical exit but how far they will fit in to Andhrajyothy is a million dollar question as it is also in favour of TDP-CPM dispensation.

this salary structure may be true after five years if saakshi exists till then. all salaries are exaggerated by somebody obviously from saakshi only. the real picture is as follows.

RK should remember one thing. actuall decedence is brewing at lower level. worldwide gap between boss and lower level staff should not be more than 50 percent. but now AJ case, all bosses crossing 200 times salary then there coleauges. is really these bosses working.? RK should think of this. put a mechanism like eenadu and keep track of things. then only you will get what is going and who is who in the system. otherwise, you will sink one day.

తెలుగు ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియాలో సంచలనాలు సృష్టిస్తామంటూ ఆరంభమైన ఎన్-టీవీ సాధారణ ఛానెల్ మాత్రమే అని తేలిపోయింది. ఈ ఛానెల్ చూసిన వారు టీవీ-9కి తక్కువ - జెమినిన్యూస్ కు ఎక్కువ అంటున్నారు. ఎన్-టీవీని గమనిస్తే టీవీ-9ని కాపీ కొడుతున్నట్లు కనిపించినా న్యూస్ బులెటిన్లు నాసిరకంగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. గ్రాఫిక్స్ మాత్రం బాగున్నాయి. ఎక్కువగా లైవ్లను నమ్ముకున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోంది. బులటిన్-బులటిన్ మధ్య తేడా కనిపించడం లేదు. యాంకర్లు తక్కువైనట్లున్నారు. పొద్దంతా అవే ముఖాలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. న్యూస్ బేస్డ్ కార్యక్రమాలు పెద్దగా లేవు. ఎన్-టీవీని చూస్తే ఈటీవీ, టీవీ-9లకు ఇప్పట్లో ఢోకా లేనట్లే అనిపిస్తోంది. అయితే ఎన్-టీవీని ఇంత తొందరగా జడ్జ్ చేయడం న్యాయం కాదేమో.. ఇవన్నీ బాలారిష్ట కష్టాలుగా భావించి మరికొద్ది రోజులు వేచి చూద్దాం..

ప్రజా జీవితంలో ఉన్నవారి వార్తలపై ఎవరికైనా ప్రత్యేక ఆసక్తి ఉండటం సహజం. వారు తుమ్మినా, దగ్గినా వార్తే అంటే అతిశయోక్తి కాదేమో.. ప్రస్తుత చర్చంతా తెలుగుదేశం అధ్యక్షుడు చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు తనయుడు లొకేశ్, సినీనటుడు బాలకృష్ణ కూతురు బ్రాహ్మణి వివాహం గురించే. ఈ వివాహానికి మీడియాను పిలవలేదు. అయినా అత్యుత్సాహంతో ఈ వివాహ కవరేజీ కోసం మీడియా అంతా హైటెక్స్ ప్రాంగణానికి వెళ్ళింది. ఆహుతులంతా పెళ్ళి మంటపంలోకి వెళ్ళి, వధూవరుల్ని ఆశీర్వదించి భోజన తాంబూలాలు ఆరగించారు. కాని పిలవని పేరంటానికి వెళ్ళిన మీడియా వారిని పలకరించే నాధుడు లేడు. రోజంతా ఆకలితో మాడారట. ఇక్కడ ఈ విషయం అప్రస్తుతమే అనుకోండి. వివాహ దృశ్యాలను చిత్రీకరించేందుకు మీడియాను అనుమతించలేదు. కానీ టీవీ-9 వాళ్ళు 'తాళి కట్టు శుభవేళ ' అంటూ ఎలాగో పెళ్ళి వీడియో వారిని లోబరచుకొని పెళ్ళి దృశ్యాలను సంపాదించారు. వీటిని 'మాకే ఎక్స్ క్లూజివ్' అంటూ రోజంతా ప్రసారం చేశారు. పనిలో పనిగా రెండు రోజుల ముందు చంద్రబాబు తన కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో కలిసి వేసిన స్టెప్పులను ప్రముఖంగా చూపించారు. దీనిపై చంద్రబాబు సీరియస్ అయ్యారు. టీవీ-9ది అనైతిక ధోరణి అని తప్పు పట్టారు. హైదరాబాద్ బాంబ్ బ్లాస్ట్ విషాద సమయంలో ఇలాంటి ప్రసారానికి అర్థం ఏమిటని ప్రశ్నించారు. నిజానికి చంద్రబాబు వివాహ కార్యక్రమం ముగియకుండానే బాంబు పేలుడు బాధితులను పరామర్శించడానికి బయలు దేరారు. కాబట్టి ఆయన ఆ మాత్రం బాధను వ్యక్తం చేయటం సహజం. నిజానికి టీవీ-9 చేసిన పని తప్పా అని ప్రశ్నిస్తే అవునని చెప్పలేం.. కాదనీ అనలేం.. విలువల సంగతి పక్కన పెట్టి జర్నలిస్ట్ దృష్టితో ఆలోచించి ఈ విషయాన్ని సమర్ధించుకో వచ్చేమో.. ఎవరి దృష్టి కోణం వారికి ఉంటుంది. అయితే అన్ని విషయాల్లో అతి పనికి రాదు. ఇదే ధోరణి కొనసాగితే.. డయానా విషయంలో బ్రిటన్ టాబ్లాయిడ్లు, పాపరాజీలను జనం ఈసడించుకోవడాన్ని గుర్తు తెచ్చుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది.

తెలుగు నాట టీవీ ఛానళ్ళు పెరిగి పోతున్నాయి. దీనికి తగ్గట్లు రాజకీయ, వ్యాపార, సాంస్కృతిక, చలనచిత్ర కార్యక్రమాల కవరేజీకి వచ్చే ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా ప్రతినిధులు పెరిగిపోతున్నారు. ఇక్కడే అసలు సమస్య తయారవుతోంది. మైకులతో బైట్లు తీసుకోవడానికి పోటీ పడుతున్న ఛానెల్ వాలాలు పరస్పరం తోసుకుంటూ, తిట్టుకుంటూ అటు నేతాశ్రీలను, ఇటు ప్రింట్ మీడియా వారిని ఇబ్బంది పెడుతున్నారు. గొట్టలవారితో చచ్చిపోతున్నామండి బాబు అని వీఐపీల సెక్యూరిటీ సిబ్బంది వాపోతున్నారు. 'ఏం చేయమంటారు.. తెరపై మా గొట్టం లోగో కనిపించకపోతే మా బాస్ ఊరుకోరు..' అంటూ ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా వాళ్ళు సంజాయిషీ ఇస్తారు. నిజమే పీత కష్టాలు పీతవి.. ఈ ఎపిసోడ్ కి అంతం లేదా?.. కచ్చితంగా ఉంది. మీడియా తాకిడి ఎక్కువగా ఉండే చోటా అన్ని మైకులు పెట్టుకోవడానికి అనువైన స్టాండ్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి. దేశ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీలో పార్లమెంట్, ఇతర ముఖ్యమైన ప్రాంతాల్లో ఈ ఏర్పాటు ఇప్పటికే ఉంది. మన రాష్ట్రంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి కార్యాలయంలో మాత్రమే ఎలాంటి స్టాండ్ కనిపిస్తుంది. అన్నీ I&PR వాళ్ళే ఏర్పాటు చేస్తారు అని భావిస్తే కష్టం. ఛానళ్ళ యాజమాన్యాలే వీటిని స్పాన్సర్ చేస్తే బాగుంటుంది. అవి ఉపయోగ పడేది వారికే అని గ్రహించాలి. గతంలో NDTV ఢిల్లీలో ఇలాగే స్పాన్సర్ చేసింది.

'జెమిని న్యూస్' బ్యూరో చీఫ్ గా ఎవరు వస్తారా అని ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్న వారంతా ప్రచారంలో ఉన్న ఒక వార్త విని షాక్ తిన్నారు. ఈ వార్త లేదా వదంతి జెమిని వర్గాలను కూడా కలవర పరుస్తోంది. 'జెమిని న్యూస్' బ్యూరో చీఫ్ గా ఆ చానెల్లోనే బిజినెస్ రిపోర్టర్ గా పని చేస్తున్న స్టెర్జీ రాజన్ ని నియమించాలని సన్ యాజమాన్యం నిర్ణయించిందట(?) బిజినెస్ రిపోర్టింగ్ ముసుగులో స్టెర్జీ పాల్పడే అవినీతిని మీడియా వర్గాలు కథలు, కథలుగా చెబుకుంటాయి. ఒక్కో వార్తకు ఆయన 2-5 వేల దాకా తీసుకుంటాడు. వార్తా క్లిప్పింగ్లపై వచ్చే ఆదాయం అధనం. ఈ ఆదాయం అంతా ఆయన వ్యక్తిగత, రహస్య ఖాతాలో జమ అవుతుంది. స్టెర్జీ జెమిని నుండి వచ్చే జీతం అంతగా ఖర్చు పెట్టడు. ఈ విషయం ఆయన సాలరీ అకౌంట్ గమనించి నిర్ధారించు కోవచ్చు. బిజినెస్ న్యూస్ ద్వారా జెమిని సంస్థకు దమ్మిడి ఆదాయం ఉండదు. కానీ స్టెర్జీ రాజన్ వ్యక్తిగత ఆస్తులు మాత్రం ఇబ్బడి ముబ్బడిగా పెరుగు తున్నాయి. జెమిని సంస్థకు ఒక్క యాడ్ రికమెండ్ చేయక పోగా వ్యాపార, కార్పోరేట్ సంస్థలకు జెమినిలో ఉచిత ప్రచారం కల్పిస్తాడీయన (తన జేబుకు గిట్టు బాటైతే చాలు). బిజినెస్ న్యూస్ తో పాటు స్టెర్జీ అధనపు బాధ్యతలు చూస్తున్న సిటిలైట్ ప్రోగ్రాంలో తరచూ ఆయన కుటుంబ సభ్యులు కనిపిస్తుంటారు. బిజినెస్ ప్రెస్ మీట్లకు కూడా కుటుంబ సభ్యులను తీసుకెలతాడని వినికిడి. ఇలాంటి కళాకారున్ని సన్ యాజమాన్యం ఏకంగా 'జెమిని న్యూస్' బ్యూరో చీఫ్ గా నియమిస్తే ఎంత 'ఛీప్'గా ఉంటుందో ఆలోచించండి. దొంగ చేతికి తాలం ఇచ్చినట్లే.. బ్రహ్మాండంగా చానెల్ను మార్కెట్ చేసి పడేస్తాడు (అమ్ముకుంటాడు) కదూ..

Political and City bueros Chiefs recently faced an internal enquiry and after that report was kept in abyance because which the Margadarsi episode was came into existance at that time. Now Saakshi will come soon so Eenadu management can not dare to take action against these correpted personalities. If it takes place they are ready to jump to other papers. -assume that if you kill EENADU:
around 10,000 people and more will lose there food.
-assume AJ is killed:
around 4,000 people will be on road.
The clarity wich you have to get:
-May be Ramoji/RK is good/bad, but people working there not did any mistake. so, while posting stuff against them, one should be keen..not to discourage the morale of these org's. There may weakminded/sensitive friends working there and they may fear abt there future. so try to resisit yourself wile posting such nast issues related Org's. may be it's Eenadu are some thing else.
-As there are issues like APUWJ, Union leaders mideeds, under hand dealings of BIG SHOT Reporters working in various reporters...try to concentrate on that. this will give more respect and attract more traffic.

Narender-Shabbir channel is into crisis due to the severe caste conflict in the office. Narender told his close friends that he would remove Ramanujan and Murthy gang once the channel is on. Recently Kommineni scored a point over his rivals and started dictating the matters. Now different Dept heads at loggerheads over the smallest of issues. Today Murthy doesn't hesitate to state openly that Kommineni is taking the channel to doom.

Result highlights

For Q1FY2008 Andhra Bank (ANDB) reported a 21.2% year-on-year (y-o-y) growth in its net profit to Rs141.1 crore, driven by a modest operating performance coming on the back of a higher non-interest income and lower provisions.
The net interest income (NII) was up 8% year on year (yoy) to Rs362.1 crore. The bank’s net interest margin (NIM) declined by 25 basis points on a y-o-y basis and by six basis points on a sequential basis (after adjusting for Rs25 crore of one-time income in Q4FY2007).
The non-interest income increased by 33.4% yoy to Rs112.5 crore due to a higher treasury income component as the fee income growth remained flat.
A 13.1% growth in the net income coupled with a moderate 9% y-o-y growth in the operating expenses helped the bank to report an 18.2% y-o-y growth in the operating profit to Rs223.4 crore; the core-operating profit (operating profit excluding treasury and amortisation) grew by 13.3% yoy to Rs227.5 crore.
Provisions and contingencies showed a decline of 68.1% yoy to Rs9.3 crore from Rs29.1 crore, mainly due the absence of a one-time hit of Rs20 crore that the bank had taken during Q1FY2007 on transfer of securities.
Business growth of the bank stood at 24.8% yoy with advances up 27.1% yoy and deposits up 23.3% yoy. Despite the strong growth in the advances the asset quality continues to remain among the best in the industry with the net non-performing assets (NPAs) at 0.19%.
The NIM is expected to stabilise going forward and lead to an improvement in the operating performance. The capital adequacy levels are comfortable at 12.5% with the Tier-I capital adequacy ratio (CAR) at around 9%, which is not a constraint for growth, and asset quality continues to remain among the best in the industry. At the current market price of Rs85, the stock is quoting at 5.8x its FY2009E earnings per share (EPS), 3.2x pre-provision profits (PPP) and 1x book value. We have introduced our FY2009E numbers in this report. The bank is available at attractive valuations, given its low price to book multiple compared with its peers and an average return on equity of 18.5%. We maintain our Buy call on the stock with a revised price target of Rs117.

ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ మీడియా జర్నలిస్టులకు ప్రస్తుతం ఒక సంఘమనేది ఉందా? ఉంటే ఏంచేస్తోంది? శైలేశ్ రెడ్డి పై అసంతృప్తితో పోటీ సంఘాన్ని పెట్టి దానికి జనార్ధన్ అనే సీ చానెల్ బ్యూరోచీఫ్(ఇప్పుడు మాజీ) ను ప్రసిడెంట్ గా పెట్టిన పెద్ద మనుషులు ఇప్పుడేం చేస్తున్నారు? ఎలక్టానిక్ మీడియా జర్నలిస్టుల సంఘంగా చెప్పుకునే నాయకులు ముఖ్యమంత్రి కార్యాలయంలో పైరవీలు చేసుకోవడం తప్ప జర్నలిస్టుల సంక్షేమం కోసం చేస్తున్నదేమీలేదు. ఇళ్ళ స్థలాల పేరిట తరచూ మభ్యపెడుతుండే ఈ సంఘం జర్నలిస్టుల కోసం ఒక్క శిక్షణా శిభిరమైనా నిర్వహించిన పాపాన పోలేదు. సదరు అధ్యక్షుల వారు సీ చానల్ నుండి తొలగింపబడి కొత్త చానళ్ళలో అవకాశాల కోసం తిరుగుతున్నారు. జెమిని బ్యూరో చీఫ్ గా వెల్లుతున్నానని బయట చెప్పుకుంటున్నాడట(?) జనార్ధన్ అధ్యక్షతన ఏర్పడ్డ ఈ పోటీ సంఘానికి రెండున్నర ఏళ్ళవుతున్నా ఎన్నికలు జరపలేదు. అంటే జనార్ధన్ జీవిత కాల అధ్యక్షుడుగా ఉండాలని సోకాల్డ్ పెద్దలు కోరుకుంటున్నారా?

మరోవైపు చక్కని కార్యక్రమాలతో ముందుకు సాగుతున్న కెమెరామెన్ల సంఘం ఇటీవలే ఎన్నికలు జరుపుకుంది. వీరిని చూసైనా జర్నలిస్టుల సంఘం బుద్ది తెచ్చుకోవడం మంచిది.

ప్రారంభం అయితే ఎలా ఉంటుందో చెప్పలేం కానీ, ఫీల్డ్ లో 'టీవీ-5' చేస్తున్న హడావుడి అంతా ఇంతా కాదు. మారుతీ ఓమ్నీకి డమ్మీ డిష్ పెట్టుకొని నగర వీధుల్లో పరుగులు తీస్తున్న టీవీ-5 బృందం ఇప్పటికే నడుస్తున్న చానళ్ళ కన్నా ఎక్కువ హడావుడి చేస్తున్నారు. వారి నిబద్దతను తప్పు పట్టలేం కానీ ఈ చానెల్ ఫీల్డ్ లో ఎంత వరకు తట్టుకొని నిలబడగలదన్నదే ప్రశ్న. టీవీ-5లో అంతగా పేరున్న జర్నలిస్టులు కనిపించడం లేదు. అంతగా అనుభవం లేని వారినే రిపోర్టర్లుగా తీసుకున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోంది. ఈ లోపాన్ని పూరించడానికా అన్నట్లు టీవీ-5 యాజమాన్యం టీవీ-9 మాజీలు కరీం, రాజశేఖర్ లను తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు వినికిడి. వీరిద్దరూ ఎలాంటి స్కామ్‌లలో ఇరుక్కొని టీవీ-9నుండి తొలగించబడ్డారో మీడియా మిత్రులందరికీ తెలుసు. అసలు టీవీ-5 అనే పేరు చానెల్ కు ఎంత వరకూ నప్పుతుందంటారు? వారేదో 'తిండి, బట్టా, గూడూ..' అనే సిద్దాంత చెబుతున్నా.. టీవీ-9కి కాపీ లాగే కనిపిస్తోంది. ఇలాంటి ఆశయాల సాధన కోసం స్వచ్చంద సంస్థ నడుపుకోవచ్చు కదా? చానెల్ ఎందుకు? టీవీ-5 పేరిట ఇప్పటికే ప్రపంచంలో పలు భాషల్లో చానెళ్ళు ఉన్నాయి. ఇక జీతాల సంగతికొస్తే జెమిని సిబ్బంది కన్నా బెటరే.. జర్నలిస్టుల ఉపాధి కోసమైనా ఇలాంటి చానెళ్ళు ఉండటం అవసరం.
